So when I saw my old Macworld colleague Chris Breen 1 point out that you can actually recreate Dark Sky’s interface in CARROT Weather, well, my interest was piqued, to say the least. Dark Sky’s interface, largely recreated in CARROT Weather.ĬARROT Weather has been my other go-to app, thanks largely to its incredible power and versatility. Say what you will about Dark Sky, but its interface was simple and straightforward. Apple’s iOS 16 Weather app is significantly improved on previous versions, though it still seems to prioritize flashy form over function (see “animated weather graphics that take up a big chunk of the screen”). Over the last several years, I’ve downloaded and tried a number competitors and while none had dethroned Dark Sky, there were a couple others in heavy rotation. Opportunity awaits! It’s been a long time since a new contender got a shot at some prime real estate on my iPhone.ĭespite my allegiance to Dark Sky, I’ve stayed in the weather app game. Goodbye, old friend, you will be missed!īut when Apple closes a door, it opens a space on your home screen. CARROT Weather has you (cloud) covered And if you’re new to investing, you may not have learned how to invest in Tesla in the first place. Over the past few years, Tesla’s (Nasdaq: TSLA) stock has been climbing at an alarming rate. However the stock has seen a drop in 2022. Tesla stock hit an all-time high of $1,222.09 back in November of 2021. Since then the stock has dropped nearly 40%. In 2020, in this article, our very own Jody Chudley said “ Tesla is the most overvalued stock on the market today.” One of the frequent criticisms you might hear about Tesla is that the stock is priced based on the company’s future potential and not on actual results. He went on to say “Tesla’s market valuation – relative to what the underlying business has actually accomplished – has gone from absurdity to outright madness. This will end badly for people buying shares today.” There is nothing fundamental going on at this company that merits this (stock price) in 2020. Now since the company’s recent drop, many investors are considering this a time to buy low and take advantage of one of the best companies the market has to offer. Regardless of whether or not you think Tesla is a good investment… these four simple steps will teach you how to invest in Tesla, or any other stock for that matter.
